Bungalow 44 Restaurant Review: This venture from the owners of Buckeye Roadhouse attempts to serve the same quality, down-home comfort cuisine, and even has the same executive chef, Robert Price. One of the most popular menu items is Kobe beef cheeseburgers with white cheddar, nearly as rich as foie gras; they’re served with truffled french fries. Short ribs are meltingly tender. Here’s a place for a classic French bistro salad, with lardons, frisée and poached egg. The setting is comfortable, especially the al fresco fireplace room. It's a good place to catch an after-work drink and some appetizers. Prices can be on the high side, depending on what you order. |
