One of Marin’s best hangouts for after-work drinks and appetizers; the menu ranges from American comfort food to fun, seasonal fare.

Bungalow 44 Restaurant Review

: This venture from the owners of Buckeye Roadhouse attempts to serve the same quality, down-home comfort cuisine, and even has the same executive chef, Robert Price. One of the most popular menu items is Kobe beef cheeseburgers with white cheddar; they’re served with truffled french fries. Short ribs are meltingly tender. Here’s a place for a classic French bistro salad, with lardons, frisée and poached egg. The setting is comfortable, especially the al fresco fireplace room. It's a good place to catch an after-work drink and some appetizers. Prices can be on the high side, depending on what you order.

This place is great on the weekends if you don't want to make the trek across the bridge. The Kobe beef cheeseburger is one of my favorites. You will find a very nice mix of people who dine there and an excellent drink menu. The wait staff there is very attentive and operates very well even when its packed.
