Buona Tavola Restaurant Review: While most of Paso’s culinary attention is centered on the main square downtown, Buona Tavola quietly serves its spot-on Italian fare just down the street. For a light lunch, go for a bowl of minestrone and a baby spinach salad with imported Gorgonzola. Heartier appetites can tuck into the house-made scampi ravioli, veal scallopine or the very satisfying eggplant timbale with tomato sauce and Fontina. Dessert includes tiramisu, but we also like to share a couple of the seasonal gelatos or tarts. The wine list offers a good selection of both local and select Italian labels.
