Cadillac Lounge Restaurant Review

: This is one of the original hubs in the heart of the now-happening Parkdale area of the city. The neighborhood vibe is suited for gathering with friends, and the mounted memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s makes it a tourist’s delight. Meanwhile, the kitchen serves up standard fare such as tacos, wraps and sandwiches, along with classic burgers made with beef, turkey or bison. Share the Mediterranean dip platter; the deep-fried, crunchy dill pickle is worth trying, too. Also recommended is the goat cheese-filled portobello salad with bruschetta salsa on a bed of wild greens. Weekend brunch dishes include eggs and pancakes, make-your-own omelet and the Caddy skillet, complete with home fries, Italian sausage, sautéed peppers, onions, two scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. And watch for the always entertaining monthly burlesque brunch. Many come to just lounge at the horseshoe-shaped bar or on the massive backyard patio; either way, get ready to peruse the selection of brews, cocktails and shots.
