Decorated with the local D'Amico brothers' artful eye, the dining room has been transformed into a serious study in restrained simplicity. White-on-white accents (chair covers, lampshades, tablecloths) put the focus where it should be: on the showcase views of pretty Loring Park---and provide a nice backdrop for the beautiful clientele that frequents the place. A la carte entrées range from plainly presented comfort food fare like a roast chicken breast with chicken jus and root vegetables to mediocre and overpriced veal. Best of show? Go for the miso-marinated sea bass; you won't be disappointed. Starters to sample: the crêpe smeared with rich, melty Brie and ham, nicely paired with savory figs. Salads or sides are necessary (entrée portions aren't big enough to fill you up); go for the terrific french fries. For entertainment and a nightcap, stop next door at the separate and posh Bar Lurcat.
