Cafe Sunflower Restaurant Review: Reaching into various ethnic traditions, Cafe Sunflower designs dishes for vegetarians and vegans that span the culinary range. We think the best bets are those that are naturally vegetarian, such as pad thai and curry tofu scramble, the latter actually more Mexican in taste than Indian. Or go for the caprese sandwich, with mozzarella, eggplant, tapenade, tomato and basil, or the burritos, vegetarian stir-fries or vegetable-focused fajitas. Organic produce is served whenever feasible. Gluten-free fare is a focus, too. Desserts are successfully executed, although we advocate the return of the creamy tofu-peanut butter pie. At this location only, beer and wine are offered, and while the choices are not bad, the list is limited. Patrons may bring their own for a corkage fee of $20. Also located at 5975 Roswell Rd.
