Caffe Molise Restaurant Review: Though this local gem whips up some fairly creative dishes --- vegetarian eggplant “meatballs” in a shallot and tomato cream with grilled fresh asparagus and polenta, and prosciutto-stuffed, rolled chicken breast among them --- the simpler preparations are oftentimes what people remember in between visits. Spinach salad, shrimp pasta in a zippy diavola sauce, and bruschetta are among our favorites. If something fails to jump out at you from the menu, the chef is usually happy to prepare a primavera upon request. The indoor ambience is comfortable and casual, but spend your summer dining on the outdoor patio for a taste of old Italy.
