Cannon's Rib Express Restaurant Review: You'll be inclined to order take-out, but you can eat on-site as well. Pork and beef ribs are the best options, but there’s also chicken or a chopped pork sandwich. Customize your favorite meat by choosing your own heat level for the "secret sauce" --- hot, medium or mild. Pair the tasty, drippy meats with down-home but small sides of mustard and turnip greens, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, or rice and beans (several options are vegetarian). On fine days, dig into your order at one of the nearby picnic tables, then top everything off with a slice of sweet potato pie or a dish of creamy banana pudding. Catering is available. Jazz musicians occasionally entertain diners. |
