Although this nautical haunt has been around since 1933, it remains a favorite among those looking to indulge in classic seafood dishes. Add to that the fact that the bar is appropriately old-school Chicago, but also friendly. Popular dishes include the Bookbinder red snapper soup, Dover sole that’s deboned tableside, and any of the lobster preparations. If you've come for a tryst, ask for one of the cozy booths on the upper level.
