 Situated off the lobby of the chic Conrad Indianapolis hotel, The Capital Grille lives up to its setting. The sophisticated, relaxed dining room tells the history of Indianapolis with the large portraits of famous Hoosiers. And even with its elegance, the fact that Indianapolis is the home of the famous 500 Race is not forgotten. Whatever the season, the arugula salad with its light lemon vinaigrette dressing is a beautiful way to prime the palate for what's to come: classic steak au poivre atop a dab of Courvoisier cream and a side of green beans with roasted tomatoes and fennel. Desserts include sorbet and ice cream that's made from scratch.
