A spacious room with an elegant, contemporary décor and a handsome bar and lounge, Ceres overlooks lush gardens, waterfalls and fountains. Dining al fresco is popular. Freshly squeezed orange juice and a strawberry-banana smoothie are refreshing breakfast starters, and omelets and eggs Benedict are hot options. Menu highlights include candied pecan waffles with maple ice cream; a breakfast croissant sandwich with fried eggs, tomato, bacon, cheddar and avocado; the Southwestern breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, chorizo, caramelized onions, black beans, Monterey and cheddar cheeses and jalapeños; and eggs Florentine with two poached eggs, sautéed spinach and hollandaise sauce. Entertainment in the form of live jazz takes place during brunch on the first and third Sundays of the month.
