Chandlers Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

Chandlers is Boise's most high-profile steakhouse, and it’s particularly known for its USDA Prime, corn-fed, Kobe-style beef. But it is executive chef Luis Flores who brings style and finesse to the restaurant's classic menu. While the cooking isn’t innovative, the traditional offerings have plenty of appeal --- scampi and wild Alaska king salmon, and, of course, the beef: porterhouse and New York strip steaks, along with tender filet mignon. If cocktails are your thing, be sure to order the Ten-Minute Martini, an original from resident mixologist Pat Carden. Pair it with something from the bar menu, perhaps oysters Rockefeller or the popular “Tower of Tuna.” The dining room’s dark walls, plush seating and low lights complement Flores’ sophisticated repertoire. Every evening, the upscale environs groove with live jazz sessions featuring several local musicians.
