Chez Leveque Restaurant Review:

Located in the chic heart of the Mile End district of Montréal, Chez Lévêque offers upscale bistro dining and a casually classy environment. Small tables with comfortable chairs arranged around a central bar provide a low-key atmosphere conducive to anything from a business lunch to a romantic dinner. You won’t go hungry with the traditional favorites that include house-smoked salmon, duck foie gras or a premium New York strip steak. The artful arrangements are highlighted with drizzles of colorful sauces. For dessert, Gaulois bitter chocolate cake with Grand Marnier is accented with raspberry coulis. The wine list is extensive and includes half-bottle and by-the-glass options. The staff is professional and friendly --- but not overly so.
