THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Chez Pierre Restaurant Review: Chef-owner Pierre Pelech provides some of the most lovingly prepared, authentic French bistro food in the desert. Meals might begin with a complimentary house-made pâté appetizer, replaced in summer months by iced vegetable crudité and a fine aïoli. Pelech's menu covers the bistro classics, with plenty of choices for both conservative and adventurous eaters. The hanger steak with shallots and a Cabernet sauce, served with pommes frites, is a particular favorite. For a real bistro journey, look to his specials, which change according to the season and to Pelech's own enthusiasms. Or eat what he tells you to eat and you'll go away happy. For dessert, we recommend the huge floating islands.
