| Chili's is the quintessential bar and grill. With its emphasis on alcoholic concoctions, appetizers and large entrées in a noisy setting, it doesn't offer too much more than what you'd expect. Not that the food is bad. Some of the dishes are actually pretty good. The Big Mouth Bites, mini burgers with bacon and cheddar, are a bit indulgent, but tasty nonetheless. The well-known ribs are flavorful, as are the buffalo chicken fajitas. Chili's also has good soups (try the chicken and green chile), sandwiches and entrée salads. For those watching their weight, the chain's guiltless grill entrées are above average. Hamburgers are also available sans the meat, made with a black bean patty. |
