| Every morning, weekend or not, is busy at Chloe's. The families and small groups waiting for tables chat, read the paper, or sip coffee on the corner, occasionally pausing to look longingly at occupied tables. It’s worth the wait for big plates of scrambled eggs, hash browns and rosemary toast. Better yet, scramble something into those eggs, as in the California classic with avocado and Jarlsberg cheese. All the ingredients are as fresh as a sunny Saturday morning. Those with an a.m. sweet tooth will enjoy the huge pancakes, thick-cut french toast and granola. Sandwiches and big salads are available for those who don't do breakfast. The staff is efficient, especially with the caffeinated beverages, and always friendly. |
