Chopps American Bar and Grill Restaurant Review:

Chopps American Bar and Grill at Boston Marriott Burlington features the talent of executive chef Jeff Williams in the open kitchen. (Daniel Bruce of Boston's Meritage fame remains the consulting chef.) Starters feature barbecue mac ‘n’ cheese with smoked Gouda and fried onions; deviled eggs with crème fraîche; and lamb "lollichopps" with cilantro purée. For main dishes, look for all things steak, including a dry-aged bone-in rib-eye, New York strip, Delmonico, skirt steak and flat-iron to take center stage. For lighter fare, order scallops, halibut, salmon or yellowfin tuna and a glass of Pinot Grigio to go alongside. Chopp-lover's pizza is worth a mention, filled with a meat-lover's paradise of ground sirloin, pepperoni, spicy sausage and crisp apple wood-smoked bacon. Steaks are served à la carte, so be sure to try out a sampling of the golden tater tots, creamed corn or roasted cauliflower. Desserts are a must, especially the profiteroles of vanilla, chocolate, cappuccino and salted caramel.
