THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO ARTISAN RESTAURANT. We like to spend a balmy spring or fall afternoon sipping one of the outstanding milkshakes---try the cappuccino flavor---on the second-story balcony of this charming spot and watch the trains come and go. Stone Mountain (the original name was New Gibraltar) sits at the foot of a large granite outcropping. Its small businesses retain a nineteenth-century charm. The upstairs café also does nice salads, a good spanakopita and croissant sandwiches. While the restaurant itself has no parking, there's plenty of municipal parking provided by the Village of Stone Mountain.
