Coyote Flaco Restaurant Review: The name means "skinny coyote," and this restaurant takes its lean cuisine seriously. Using only olive oil, the kitchen charcoal-broils its meats and pairs them with generous helpings of vegetables; to precede them, chorizo stewed in fresh cactus juice makes for a mighty appetizer. While the overly chocolaty chicken mole disappoints, the roja enchilada and roast pork taco are full-flavored for all their healthiness. The only thing the restaurant isn't lean on is the service, which is fast and friendly. This little restaurant is big on festivity and low on calories. Working lunch? Coyote Flaco offers Wi-Fi. |
