Crepes a la Cart Restaurant Review: Located practically on the Tulane University campus next to a hopping college bar, this walk-up crêpe counter stays in tune with the late-night hours of its young student customer base. Nearly 50 sweet or savory varieties supply everything from simple snacks to outright meal-size crêpes stuffed with meat, vegetables, cheese and sauces. You could have one filled with cheese or eggs for breakfast, then come back for lunch to try the Monte Cristo, or pop over for dessert crêpes after a night on the town. The “Heavenly Chocolate Delight” crêpe consists of chocolate chips, angel food cake and Baileys Irish Cream. All crêpes are made-to-order and slipped into cardboard triangle containers for easy transport. Coffee drinks and ice cream round out the menu.
