Daily Grill Restaurant Review: Located on the corner of one of DC’s busiest streets, this Daily Grill is a good stopover for lunchtime crowds from nearby offices and for early dinners for folks wending their way home after work. Busy most of the time, Daily Grill does offer a respite from the day’s work with such all-American classics as a juicy cheeseburger with fries, a Cobb club sandwich, and chicken Caesar salad. The lunch and dinner menus are similar but the choices are more extensive in the evening, and, of course, the portions are a bit larger. In the evening, you will find the entrée salads, but also welcome charbroiled skirt steaks, filet mignons or pan-fried Idaho trout. Desserts include such usual suspects as fruit cobblers and Key lime pie. |
