Daquise Restaurant Review:
New owners have changed the old-fashioned décor to a shabby-chic look with wooden floors, plain tiled walls and flowers. A regular changing menu highlights Polish favorites, like venison pâté, marinated herrings with sour cream, and for cold winter days, dumplings with cabbage and porcini and those topnotch Polish soups. And that’s just the starters. Continue with fried carp with onions, tender chicken with home-made noodles or roast veal in a cream sauce, then the pancakes stuffed with cheese. And you should go for the vodkas. Service is delightful.
