daVinci's Restaurant Review: Owners Larry and Jennifer Schwartz claim there isn’t a right angle in the place, which adds to this spot's casual, laid-back charm. But, even if the walls were at right angles, it's the New York-style Italian dishes that really attract locals and tourists alike. Menu items range from mussels and clams as appetizers, to a spectrum of pastas paired with spicy Italian sausage, chicken, pork or beef. Of particular note is the hearty baked eggplant Parmigiana and The Mona Lisa, with fresh angel hair pasta, yellow squash, zucchini, onions and mushrooms in a bright, peppery Tuscan tomato sauce. In appropriate Wood River Valley fashion, a gluten-free version of any pasta dish is also offered. Add a glass of vino from the simple but smart wine menu and the coziness of Little Italy is alive in the mountains.
