Delia's Chicken Sausage Stand Restaurant Review: Flying Biscuit founder Delia Champion and her pal Molly Gunn established this little enterprise. Although chiefly a take-out spot, there are a few tables and chairs inside and sheltered outdoor seating. Delia's chicken sausage is made from chickens raised without hormones or antibiotics in Gainesville, Ga., and is the best of the genre we’ve ever tasted. For Champion, the healthy aspect of her food doesn't compromise flavor. Breads for the hoagie sandwiches come from Holeman & Finch. We also like the black bean chicken chili embellished with ample cumin. Hunger just on the snack level? Check out the sliders, although we think the buns could be better. The menu accommodates vegetarians and vegans, too. Coffee scores real points, especially for a fast food-type operation.
