| Flying Biscuit founder Delia Champion and co-owner Molly Gunn re-teamed up to launch Delia's Chicken Sausage Stand. Although chiefly a take-out spot, there's outdoor seating that's useful in decent weather. The late-night crowd and restaurant folks getting off work flock to the place. Delia's chicken sausage is made from chickens raised without hormones or antibiotics in Gainesville, Georgia; spices come from South Georgia. For breakfast, get the "Mother Clucker," with an egg, cheddar and sausage link on a hoagie roll. We also like the black bean chicken chili embellished with ample cumin. The menu accommodates vegans too. Coffee scores real points, especially for a fast food-type operation. |
