Delta Cafe Restaurant Review: No one goes hungry at Delta Café. Appetizers feature a large selection of fried items: okra, hush puppies, and corn fritters. Enjoy gargantuan portions of fried chicken, blackened catfish, chicken-fried steak, and classic red beans and rice with andouille sausage. For sides, ordering cornbread, mashed turnips and carrots, or collard greens is a must. Dessert-wise, go retro with a root beer float or rice crispy treat. At brunch, wash down the biscuits and gravy or basket of beignets with a fruit Champagne cocktail or a build-your-own Bloody Mary. There's also a decent kids’ menu, sure to please both parents and youngsters. |
