| Dexter's is a staple in this neighborhood, with cool art on the walls and a cozy ambience. For lunch, you can order anything from roasted Atlantic salmon to a corned beef sandwich topped with a fried egg, and pair it with one of more than 30 wines by the glass. At dinner, the entrées are a bit more ambitious, like braised spare rib goulash and local crispy snapper in ginger-coconut broth. Tuesday nights draw the biggest weeknight crowds, when you can get a burger for just $1---any toppings are just 50 cents each. Sunday brunch brings the classics like omelets, waffles and eggs Benedict. One of the spicy Bloody Marys makes Sunday morning even easier. |
