THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Donato's Restaurant Review:

Donato Loperfido is back. Perhaps not in the best location in Honolulu. This is a second floor space in a neighborhood shopping center. But the bar hums, until late, and there’s jazz and blues. But the thing that works best for us is the food, especially ingredients like fresh tomato, arugula, bresaola and shaved Parmesan, or the house-made mozzarella stuffed with roasted peppers and soppressaia. The salmon carpaccio with fennel always gets our attention, and when we’re starving, we eat the pork chop stuffed with montasio and bacon. The food always seem alive to us, and there are 16 wines by the glass to explore.
