Dosi, a Korean-inspired restaurant in the Upper Kirby area, has a sleek, modern dining room with an inviting communal bar. The menu features fragrant kimchi, Wagyu beef jerky, sautéed squid and a spiced duck breast, and while it's all very Korean, it's also rather cutting edge, with a nod to non-traditional Korean dishes. Selecting from the menu of small plates creates an ideal way to sample and share many of these delicacies, but the family-style servings are also not to be missed, in particular the Korean fried chicken wings with a spicy red pepper glaze. Or, just let the chef create a tasting menu for you. At $45, it’s a real bargain. Couples frequent Dosi as much for the food as for the soju-infused cocktails, and the place makes a great date nightspot for foodies.
