East Coast Alice Restaurant Review:

Not to be confused with the Alice’s in Woodside, East Coast Alice in downtown Saratoga delivers abundant East Coast flavor, courtesy of Alice Walsh’s New York Italian-American family recipes. Not to be missed are the meatballs with pine nuts and raisins, chicken cacciatore, linguine with clams or the eggplant Parmesan. Try the lamb sandwich with Alice’s secret sauce (all sauces and dressings, even the ketchup, are made in house) or the pepper-and-egg sandwich with provolone. Another house specialty is the manicotti. The patty melt or cheeseburger submarines will conquer the biggest appetites. Ma’s chocolate cannolis, Addie’s New York cheesecake or the zeppole (Italian-style fried dough with Nutella) round out the meal richly.
