Elm Street Oyster House Restaurant Review: This small but bustling seafood restaurant offers nine beers on tap, a selection of six daily-changing oysters, and an extensive list of blackboard specials. Signature dishes from its open kitchen include myriad seafood and fish options prepared in virtually every method and combination. The thinly sliced pepper-seared tuna carpaccio or the seafood chili, a thick and spicy bowl brimming with assorted seafood, are good starters. Larger plates include flaky Maryland crab cakes and apple fritters with sautéed spinach, and a grilled sirloin sandwich for those who prefer land over sea. If possible, try to arrive early to get one of the few white marble-topped tables. If not, plan to spend an hour mingling with the upscale crowd at the wine and beer bar until your table is ready.
