THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Enoteca Toscana Wine Bistro Restaurant Review:
Antonio Anderson opened his small wine bar to bring a bit of Italy and Spain to Camarillo. To that end, Anderson stocks wine primarily from those two countries. And he serves mostly small plates of Spanish tapas and Italian antipasti designed for wine pairing. You can sit at the bar and nosh on marinated olives or shrimp seared with olive oil and lemon while sipping a glass of Tempranillo or Vinho Verde. Want a real meal? Dig into a panino, or maybe the prosciutto with Gorgonzola, or the meatball with marinara sauce. Ask about the bodega specials, a nightly list of full-size entrées like roasted rack of venison or salmon poached in rosé wine. Every Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. is Champagne happy hour, with all bottles of bubbly $10 off, and glasses of Brut and Cava for $4 or less. Wine tastings are offered on Tuesdays; the $12 cost includes a cheese plate. On Sundays, all bottles of wine are half-off.
