THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Escargot Restaurant Review:

French dining with a polished casualness emerges in a narrow niche between Fort Worth culinary landmarks St. Emilion and Michaels. The dining room offers a soft ambience with thistle-hued walls accented by leaf-patterned sheers, a few paintings and varied objets d’art. Among the namesake dishes is escargots in puff pastry and a lovely escargots Roquefort, as well as the “au persil” version served cassoulet-style in parsley butter. Don’t be embarrassed to dip a crust of bread in the flavorful sauce. Traditional appetizers also include veal pâté and pan-seared foie gras while Dover sole meunière figures among familiar entrées. Chef Cory Garrison demonstrates creativity with his salmon Wellington and cardamom-rubbed duck. At lunch, a smaller menu includes shrimp salad, salmon pasta and steak frites. The wine list balances French offerings with a wide selection and styles from Italy, California and New Zealand.
