Evan's Kitchen Restaurant Review: Evan's Kitchen has beveled oak tables and chairs and dusty knickknacks reminiscent of grandma's house. Friendly service, an extensive comfort food menu and ample portions add to the down-home charm. While lunch and dinner are served, locals know this is the place to go for breakfast. More than a dozen Benedicts and omelets are on the menu, as are house specialties such as chicken fried steak and a breakfast burrito. Lunch options are equally as indulgent, and include burgers and sandwiches, such as the hot meatloaf sandwich and tuna melt. Dinner selections include every childhood dish of memory --- think pot roast, short ribs and fried chicken. Those watching their waistline need fear not as numerous vegan items are available as well.
