| Line up and place your order, or grab a seat at the bar. Blackboard burgers are chef-created and there’s always a daily special. Blackboarder No. 1 comes with Grafton smoked white cheddar, caramelized onions (a bit pale the day we sampled them), a special slightly spicy sauce and, for an extra $2, the very worthy house-cured bacon. But some days we think simple is best, so you don't lose the slightly gamy flavor of this meat, and the basic burger is just $6. Several veggie burgers include one based on quinoa and another made from grated beets and locally made goat cheese. There's also a chicken burger, along with the option of a locally produced gluten-free bun. Wines need rethinking, but the brews are just dandy, and on draught the Uinta organic extra pale gets our vote. For dessert, try an adult float and share it. Also located at 3365 Piedmont Rd.
