FARM Restaurant Review:

Tucked away in downtown’s La Plaza Shopping Center is a charming Provençal-style café simply called FARM. As the name implies, the restaurant offers a farm-to-fork experience. Behind the kitchen door is a pantry filled with organic ingredients and a refrigerator brimming with locally sourced eggs, meats and cheeses. Even the jams that are served are strictly house-made. FARM offers an array of classic French dishes, such as the crispy duck confit omelet, and french toast made with brioche and crowned with macerated berries. There’s also an assortment of crêpes and soups, including a French onion, along with quiche and other specialties. The mimosa and Bloody Mary offerings are best enjoyed on the outdoor patio or, when weather isn’t cooperating, inside by one of the cozy fireplaces. Service is somewhat inconsistent depending on who is on the clock that day, but the food is good.
