| This stylish, upscale restaurant offers plenty of standard issue Tex-Mex dishes, but it also has a handle on well-made regional Mexican preparations. Start with the botanas platter for the table, a generous round of quesadillas, nachos, flautas, guacamole and stuffed jalapeƱos. You might find you only need a large fajita salad after that, piled high with beef or chicken, tossed with a mix of fresh greens, avocado and spicy jalapeƱo ranch dressing. The usual Tex-Mex combos are on hand---enchiladas, tacos, tamales and chalupas, no surprises here, just well-done classics. Venturing out to the regional dish part of the menu, we enjoy tacos de camarones, shrimp with a mild tomato and pepper sauce served in grilled corn tortillas. |
