There are so many choices that, given the meaning of tapas---little plates---diners are tempted to order way too many. Starting with the chilled tapas and accompanied by sangría, we like the boquerones, or white anchovies on toast with roasted red peppers, and the assortment of Spanish sausages. Next, try the savory tomato-basil soup from among hot tapas, followed by bacon-wrapped, blue cheese-stuffed dates. Beyond those, go for the meat tapas such as Serrano ham and manchego cheese croquetas, and lamb chops with red wine reduction. Don't forget the tiramisu parfait and caramel flan.
