| Many restaurants come and go, but The Fireplace Inn lives on. The après-ski vibe comes complete with a blazing fireplace in the winter months. Despite the décor, you won't find a lot of downhill-skier types eating here, but you will encounter ribs with zingy sauce; it's the color of ketchup and just as thick, but the analogy ends there. Ribs as good as these deserve quality accompaniments---good crunchy coleslaw and first-rate fries, for example. Ribs can be teamed with chicken, steak, shrimp or crab legs. If you prefer, barbecued Texas beef ribs are available in either full-slab or half-slab portions as well. |
