Firestone Public House Restaurant Review: Named after the tire shop that was once housed in the same building, Firestone offers a varied menu in a casual setting. The restaurant plays on the structure’s former life with stacked tire planters, tire tread details on menus and aprons, and aluminum diamond plate accents. The industrial feel is furthered by the numerous flat-panel TVs around the dining room showcasing various sporting events. The menu is decidedly pub-food heavy, with a few internationally inspired dishes mixed in. Starters include the expected wings and onion rings, as well as the more ambitious poke wrap and banh mi sliders. Mains include sandwiches and pizza, and also a braised short rib with sweet potato risotto and paella with saffron rice. Wash it all down with one of the dozens of international beers on tap, many of them local, or taste a range with a beer flight.
