Having established himself at Bellagio with Light, Caramel and Mist nightclubs, gifted entrepreneur Andrew Sasson took over the space that was Nectar and opened a club of his own---Fix. As hip as the clubs he previously ran, Fix has an urban-modern design with a wave-like ceiling and multi-level banquettes creating an intimate yet expansive setting. Specialty cocktails like berry martinis and pineapple mojitos are served at the massive bar and in its lounge area. Chef Rene Charest, one of the few female executive chefs on the Strip, offers a menu designed to showcase the best in classic American fare. The "old school tomato soup" is accompanied by a grilled Vermont cheddar cheese sandwich. “Raw Fix” includes yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño ponzu and tuna poke with mango-wasabi mojo and shrimp chips. The shared-for-the-table smoked salmon and osetra caviar poppers with scallion blinis will wow you and your seafood-loving friends, while trenchermen like the grilled 14-ounce sirloin and 20-ounce rib-eye. Saké and the extensive wine list nicely complement the fare. The Americana theme continues through the dessert course, so save room for a traditional root beer float with warm chocolate cookies.
