Franco's Ristorante Restaurant Review: Looking for a pre- or post-Sox game meal? This Italian restaurant beats the pants off of most ballpark area eats. With its roots planted firmly in the neighborhood, it dishes up home cooking like your grandmother (or mother) makes. Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles or brass bands. The real music here is what you see on the plate in front of you. We can highly recommend carving a meal out of baked clams, followed by homemade gnocchi with marinara sauce or veal cutlet with rapini. Dessert, if you can manage, would be a pleasing tiramisu, or even more pleasing chocolate chip ice cream. An affordable wine list completes the package. |
