| Frank Fat’s has been turning out first-rate Asian fare in a classy atmosphere for nearly 70 years. The Fat’s restaurant empire may have grown, but the original still attracts legislators, politicians and other Capitol bigwigs the same way it did decades ago. The menu features a selection of dishes from each of the four main Chinese cuisines: Cantonese, Szechwan, Peking and Shanghai. Appetizers include crispy wrapped chicken, firecracker beef and salt and pepper calamari, while entrées include black pepper rib-eye, mango ginger chicken and whole clams in black bean sauce. Or, bring in your own wild duck, goose, pheasant or other game in advance and the kitchen will marinate it in Frank Fat’s own special sauce and serve it up. |
