Frank Fat's Restaurant Review: The Fat's empire has expanded exponentially in recent years, but the original location remains a staple in the city's dining scene even after 70 years. Despite its questionable location, Frank Fat's still attracts legislators, politicians and other Capitol bigwigs the same way it did decades ago. The menu features a selection of dishes from each of the four main Chinese cuisines: Cantonese, Szechwan, Peking and Shanghai. Appetizers include fried pork dumplings, pot stickers and salt-and-pepper calamari, while mains include Korean beef short ribs, wok-fried scallops and New York steak in garlic oyster sauce. Or, bring in your own wild duck, goose, pheasant or other game in advance and the kitchen will marinate it in Frank Fat’s own special sauce and serve it up. |
