| Owner Marc Davy; his brother, pastry chef Aimeric Davy; and baker-chef Antoine Picherit have created a pleasant, convenient and casual little bistro. They serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon small plates and dinner, adapting to the time of day with a flexibility that is distinctly and happily un-Parisian. They ring the changes of the seasons with monthly specials of French classics, but they also keep the menu lively with daily changes to their crêpes and quiches (their salmon and leek quiche is particularly good). But the heart of the place lies in its French pastries: Aimeric trained with the master, Pierre Hermé, and it shows. The macarons are a must. |
