THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED French Quarter, Too Restaurant Review:

This Cajun-Creole neighborhood spot started as a little brother to the now-closed French Quarter Food Shop in Midtown. The ownership changed not long afterward but the menu has remained much the same. Want gator tail? It's here and correctly done, a rare treat given how easy it is to ruin alligator. Otherwise, fried oysters, the muffuletta, the po' boys and the bread pudding all will be familiar. The excellent, peppery and very creamy crawfish bisque is a special, but it may as well be a regular item, as patrons would have a revolt if it ever disappeared. Seasonally (November to July at the outset), Wednesdays nights are devoted to crawfish, available in 3- and 5-pound increments. The wines are not outstanding, but certainly are decent, but the beverage to target is one of the Louisiana beers. Make ours Abita. Also located at 10595 Old Alabama Connector Rd., Alpharetta, 770-645-7810.
