Fuller's Coffee Shop Restaurant Review: Walk into Fuller's and imagine a time before credit cards (this place remains defiantly cash-only, although in a concession to modernity, there's an ATM on site). Stepping inside the place is akin to dropping into a '50s photograph. A single, long Formica-topped counter snakes through the diner where customers perch on stools and waitresses in white aprons pour coffee freely from squat glass pots. Don’t even think about ordering a latté. Instead, choose traditional eggs and bacon, fluffy pancakes or chicken-fried steak, and enjoy reading a genuine printed black and white newspaper. For lunch, choose from a traditional list of sandwiches. Portions are huge, so go hungry. Bread and jam are homemade. Don't expect alcohol, or vegetarian or gluten-free choices. During the sunny season, the few outdoor tables enjoy a brisk turnover.
