This small restaurant could have been designed in San Francisco’s North Beach and airlifted here. You can rely on simple southern Italian food, hearty and flavorful. Lining the pine-walled room, empty wine bottles (signed by inspired customers) serve as a wine list. The pastas are good. Try the penne with fennel sausage and sweet peppers in a cream sauce, the fettuccine with artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, spinach, onions, garlic and tomatoes or the seafood-stuffed ravioli. A toothsome finale is the delicious warm chocolate cake.
