The Garden Room Restaurant Review: The Garden Room, open to both hotel guests and walk-ins, opens up onto the gardens of Le Quartier Français through wide glass doors. Breakfast, which is served until 11 a.m., includes a buffet with homemade granola and pastries (including their famous sticky buns), freshly squeezed juices, infused teas and fresh fruit. The kitchen also offers an array of cooked breakfasts using local ingredients, such as organic eggs from Spier Estate in Stellenbosch, and pasture-reared bacon and sausages handcrafted by Neil Jewell of their sister restaurant, Bread & Wine. The Garden Room also offers a tapas menu in the afternoon and evening.
