Gloria's Restaurant Review: At Gloria’s it is best to order a lot and plan on sharing. There’s a multitude of delicious items to select from the funky mix of Salvadoran and Tex-Mex food. The bisteck ranchero is a favorite (a thin piece of beef in a very spicy tomato-based sauce), but remember, when the menu says hot, it means it! A soupy, nicely seasoned salsa, with chips, and a killer black bean dip, teamed with a frosty margarita can tide you over while you study this extensive menu. We also like the charbroiled items, like the juicy shrimp, and the crusty flank steak the best; also the cheese-filled pupusas and the tender tamales. The Mexican part of the menu is not as exciting as the Salvadoran side, and offers everyday dishes like enchiladas, nachos and tacos. Definitely get flan for dessert---not the insipid chocolate one, but the vanilla one, with its tasty caramel sauce.
