Graeter's Restaurant Review: For a taste that's signature Cincinnati, head to Graeter's. Try the black raspberry chip ice cream with virtual boulders of high-quality chocolate. The family-owned shop, which has been making ice cream in Cincinnati for five generations, has locations across the city. The Mt. Auburn outlet looks more like a warehouse than an ice cream parlor and is known for its large bakery (you’ll get a whiff of the baked goods as soon as you step inside). Order anything from old-school sodas with hand-pumped syrups to pastries to pretzel cones, and, of course, the ice cream, made in small batches in the French pot process. |
