THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Green Mill Restaurant Review: The bar scene at Green Mill is friendly and convivial, but we mostly come for the award-winning pies. Treat yourself to the deep dish, thin crust and pescara (a medium crust spiced with herbs) pizzas and the stuffed calzones. We also cast a fond eye toward specialty pizzas like the garlic roasted potato and the il primo, which comes loaded with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted mushrooms and four cheeses. Avoid the overly fried appetizers like the mozzarella sticks, fries, onion rings and chicken wings of all stripes, and be cautious when ordering from the grill. Nice: there's a separate dining room that is comfortable for the kids.
