The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille Restaurant Review: About as all-American as you may find in the old section of Frederick, The Greene Turtle might be a sports bar, but you had better watch your Ps and Qs: there is a strict dress code that includes no backwards hats or slouchy shorts. That said, folks come here for the bar scene and multiple big screen TVs and the occasional band night. They also come to eat: sweet potato fries, popcorn shrimp or hog hammers (meaty ribs in a barbecue sauce) to start can lead to such entrées as the chipotle burger, chicken Chesapeake sandwich, and raspberry turkey flatbread. You’ll also get choices like the roasted or Firehouse chicken. Desserts are simple affairs of a cookie sundae or root beer float. |
